In response to the increase of energy cost, applications advertised with “Green Concept” become more and more popular. Hence, MEAN WELL introduced the new 75W miniature high reliability AC/DC enclosed type power supply ~ HRP-75 series, in order to comply with the trend of energy saving as well as low energy-consumption demands in the market. Along with the existing products - HRPG-150 (150W), HRPG-300 (300W) and HRPG-600 (600W), MEAN WELL currently can offer various wattage options from 75W to 600W within this product line of single output enclosed type power supply with PFC function and energy-saving concept. Featuring low no-load power consumption, high operating efficiency, and miniaturization, HRP-75 series reduce the size by 17.9% comparing to our first generation of PFC model SP-75 (75W) and increase the working efficiency by 9~11%. The ability of anti-vibration also be upgraded from 2G to 5G and the warranty is also extended from 3 years to 5 years.

HRP-75 series are designed for fitting 1U low profile (38mm) rack chassis. Possessing up to 89% of high efficiency, it can be cooled by free air convection from -30℃ to +70℃ ambient temperature. Built-in active PFC function, these new power units can fulfill the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current and also withstand 300VAC input surge for 5 seconds, which can reduce the damage caused by the unstable AC main. Other standard functions include remote ON/OFF control, protection for short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage and over temperature (optional). In addition, HRP-75 features with extreme low no-load power consumption (<0. 5W), which allows the designers easily conform to the requirements of Energy Star and EuP norm for end systems. Suitable applications include factory automation, test and measurement equipment, electrical and mechanical industry, LED display and all usage that requires low no load power consumption.
