Along with the existing products PB-120 (120W), PB-300 (300W), PB-360 (360W), PB-600 (600W) and PB-1000 (1000W), MEAN WELL can provide users various choices of metal case battery chargers from 120~1000W with diverse models and charging capacities. Using the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector, PB-230 series features with 90~264VAC full range input and active PFC function and hence can comply with harmonic requirement per EN61000-3-2 which have been requested by the European Union. With 3-stage fast charging characteristics, these battery chargers can quickly and efficiently feed your hungry batteries. They are suitable for all kinds of batteries, such as lead-acid battery, Lithium-Mn (LiMnO2) battery, Lithium-Fe (LiFePO4) battery, and sealed lead-acid gel batteryג€¦etc.

PB-230 series possess 3-stage charging curve (constant current, constant voltage and floating) and can monitor the battery capacity by detecting the battery voltage. The device can quickly charge the battery at constant current mode in a low battery capacity status. When the battery bank become full, the charger can automatically turn into constant voltage mode with slight charging current to avoid lifetime reduction caused by over-charging. And then, rely on its floating-charge function, the capacity can be sustained as a sufficient level to allow userג€™s access any time. Other standard function includes front panel ON/OFF power switch, 2-color LED indicator for charging status, remote ON/OFF control, fan speed control, short circuit, over-voltage, and over temperature protections. Furthermore, these chargers acquired global safety/EMC certificates per TUV, UL and CE which greatly guarantee your safety for all different charging applications such as electric motor, electric bicycle, electric wheelchair, security system, leisure vehicle and office/commercial equipmentג¦etc.
