Featuring with high operating efficiency, miniaturization, and energy-saving, HRP(G) family is the most high-end product in MEAN WELLג€™s enclosed type line. Built-in active PFC function to fulfill the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current, HRP (G)-200 reduce the size by 24.8% and extend the warranty from 3 years to 5 years comparing to our first generation of enclosed type PFC product SP-200 series (200W).

HRP-200(basic models) and HRPG-200 (complete function models) are designed for fitting 1U low profile (38mm) installations. Possessing up to 89% of high efficiency, it can be cooled by free air convection from -30oC to +40oC ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +70oC by suitable derating. In addition, HRP(G)-200 series equip with the function of 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, which can reduce the damage caused by the unstable AC main. To compensate for wiring voltage drops, remote sense function is built-in to fix up to 0.5V of voltage drop. Protection functions include short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage and over temperature.

HRPG-200 series equip with additional remote ON/OFF control and 5V/0.3A standby output to achieve the goal of ג€œno load power consumption <0.5Wג€. More and more end systems ask for this feature to comply with the requirement of ENERGY STAR and ErP (Energy-related Products) norms and using our HRPG-200 should help designers achieve those regulations easily!
